Canadian-American political scientist and psychologist whose decades-long research reshaped how we think about predictions and forecasting. His book Expert Political Judgment showed that most pundits forecast no better than chance, while Superforecasting (with Dan Gardner) distilled the habits of the unusually accurate few. His Good Judgment Project is a landmark in applied decision-making and rationality, and his work is closely linked to that of Daniel Kahneman on judgment under uncertainty.
